Pastor Carl Anderson

Pastor Carl Anderson grew up in Grand Junction CO and accepted the Lord as his personal Savior in 1996 as a freshman in High School while attending Mesa View Baptist Church. After graduating High School, he served as an Active Duty F-15 Crew Chief in the US Air Force for seven years including two years in Combat Crash Recovery in Iraq and Afghanistan.
While Pastor Carl was enlisted, he graduated with a Bachelor of Criminal Psychology degree in 2003 from Wayland Baptist University in Anchorage AK. After being Honorably Discharged from the Air Force in 2006, he went on to graduate from Colorado Christian University in Colorado Springs with a Master of Theology degree with honors in 2022.
Pastor Carl started his ministry in 2000 leading the youth programs at Maranatha Baptist Church in Anchorage AK from 2000-2003. His ministry continued in a variety of roles as he moved around with the military and around Colorado including running two separate veteran non-profit ministries (Warriors First and Iron Life) helping our Colorado Springs veteran community find their way out of suicide, depression, and addiction and back to the loving arms of Christ. Carl joined Roswell Community Church in 2012 and supported several ministries.
Pastor Carl took over the youth ministry programs at Roswell Community Church in 2015. He was elected as Student Pastor at the church in 2022 studying under the leadership and guidance of Pastor Bob Hollopeter. In 2024 he was ordained by Roswell Community Church and elected as Head Pastor of Roswell Community Church.
Carl and his wife Nicole (Mello) Anderson were married in 2016. They and their two girls Kiera and Kaylee continue lovingly serving Roswell Community Church and the Colorado Springs community as a whole.
In Pastor Carl’s free time he enjoys exploring the beautiful mountains of Colorado whether it’s Paragliding or 4wheeling in his Jeep with the family camping, hiking, and mountain biking. He also enjoys finding some quiet time to practice on his guitar or just sit and read. When weather doesn’t allow him to get to the mountains Carl enjoys tinkering on his 1960 Thunderbird or 63 Willies Jeep.
